Piute Lake State Park

Piute Lake or Piute Reservoir is roughly 12 miles south of Marysville on 89 Hwy and is located near Otter Creek. It can be an excellent place for fishing and swimming.

The Park can have some of the best trout and bass fishing at times. There is a strict limit of 6 Statewide Bass and 4 Trout per fisher. High winds during the afternoon can make it difficult for boating so taking a break during the afternoon can be a good idea, as it is also when the fish are normally not biting.

There is a fee to get into the park, but it is on the honor system so you will have to look out for the paying area.
