Gunlock State Park, having fun at the LakeThe gunlock state park is a fantastic way to create a cheap family fun day. The lake is a perfect place for boating, fishing, skiing, or just swimming. The park allows for year round boating and water sporting activities. When I went there were a number of water skiers and kayakers all having fun at the lake. 
A wide variety of animals live on the lake and the shore can often have a number of lake fossils from small lake animals who have just shredded their skin. 
Gunlock reservoir is a beautiful paradise and should be treated with respect. When you are having a picnic remember littering is not allowed or ethical at any park.
