We recently went to a chili cook off and had a great time! They also had tables for local arts and craftsman. I was blown away with some of the wood carvings.

Duck Creek Utah is surrounded by National Parks, Zion, Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. It is a great place to stop on your way to many of the National Parks Utah has to offer. With its elevation of 8,500 to 11,000 feet it offers a relief from the Valley’s hot weather.

There are numerous fishing lakes Navajo Lake, Panquitch Lake, Duck Creek Pond, Mammoth Creek and Aspen Mirror Lake. We stopped at Duck Creek Pond, the area is breathtaking surrounded by pine and aspen trees, a bridge, streams and a nice size lake. We saw a mother duck and her babies. On the drive there we passed a deer and have heard the area is filled with elk and wild turkeys as well.

Other activities include hiking, ATVing, rock climbing, shopping, boating, fishing and camping. In the winter the area offers snowmobiling and cross country skiing.

Duck Creek Village is close enough to the City for a day trip and just far enough away to relax from the hustle and bustle of City Life.
