Bryce Canyon Hiking and Camping
Bryce Canyon hiking and camping is well worth it. Even though this is the smallest of the Utah national parks there is still a lot to see and do.
Here are some of the hikes they are must sees.
Bryce Point – A short walk to a great look out. Easy Trail
Mossy Cave located at the North end of Bryce off Highway 12 and is a streamside walk to a mossy overhang and small water flows from May-October. Easy Trail
Rim Trail located throughout the park offers outstanding views of hoodoos from above. Easy Trail
Bristlecone Loop located at Rainbow Point where you hike through
spruce-fir forest to cliffs and expansive vistas. Easy Trail
Queens Garden located at Sunrise Point is not a full loop trail and is the easiest into the canyon. Easy Trail
Navajo Loop located at Sunset Point will lead you to Two Bridges and Thors Hammer a bit steep into the canyon. Moderate Trail
Queens/Navajo Combination Loop located at Sunset or Sunrise Point combines both trails above the rim tail to form a loop. Moderate Trail
Tower Bridge located north of Sunset Point and is not a loop and views of bristlecone pines and China Wall with a shady trail to the bridge. Moderate Trail
Hat Shop located at Bryce Point is not a loop trail and offers views of clusters of balanced rock hoodoos. Moderate Trail
Fairyland Loop located at Fairyland Point or north of Sunset Point where you can see the China Wall, Tower Bridge and tall hoodoos. Strenuous Trail
Peekaboo Loop located at Bryce Point is steep but spectacular hike through the heart of Bryce Amphitheater.
Navajo/Peekaboo Combination Loop located Sunset Point combines Navajo and Peekaboo Loop Trails. Strenuous Trail
The Figure “8” located at Sunrise or Sunset Point and combines Navajo/Peekaboo/Queens Garden trails for the ultimate hike. Strenuous Trail
Bryce Amphitheater Traverse is located at Bryce Point and opened
during June – September. Descend from Bryce Point turn left on Peekaboo to Canyon floor and climb Queens Garden Trail to Sunrise Point. Strenuous Trail
Bryce Canyon camping can also be a very great idea and will give you time to do all the hikes and have all of the adventures you want in this breathtaking national park.
