Arches National Park in Utah

The arches national park in Utah is one of the most amazing national parks on the planet. It is 73,000 aches and contains over 2,000 of the famous arches in Utah.

The arches are created from Entrada sandstone and through the process of erosion sections of the rocks were gradually worn away over millions of years creating arch like figures.

Delicate Arch
The most famous of all the arches in Utah is the Delicate Arch. It has become a symbol for not only the national park, but for the state as a whole.

double Arch
The double Arch was pretty interesting. It consists of two arches together. It appears like a natural tunnel that nature has carved out for itself.

broken arch
The broken arch was actually a little bit of a disappointment for me. I was expecting to see an arch that had a big chunk taken out of it. But the Broken arch is not actually broken; instead it has a crack on the top giving it the appearance of being cut in half.

 Balanced rock
The arches aren’t the only thing to see, there are a number of attractions. Balanced rock is also a famous part of the park. This rock which is the size of 3 school busses seems to somehow avoid falling, while it balances on another larger rock high in the air.

It appears to have a large head, clearly defined neck, and body making it a true giant.

This is a great place to visit if you want to see the best rock formations Utah has to offer. The information for the park is.
